Green card holder Paramjit Singh still in ICE custody, family says second brain tumor surgery delayed due to detention

Paramjit Singh, a 48-year-old with a green card and a business in Indiana, who was detained by the ICE at Chicago airport when he returned from India, is still in detention. His family hired a private investigator to prob the 2008 forgery offence that immigration authorities cited after citing a 1999 pay phone case. The investigator found no active case against Singh, his family said.
