Motel owner shot in the head in Pittsburg: 'Are you alright?' he asked the shooter

A 51-year-old motel owner, Rakesh Ehagaban, was fatally shot in Robinson by Stanley Eugene West after checking on a dispute. West had first shot his female companion in the motel parking lot, then shot Rakesh when he intervened. West later shot a police officer, with both victims hospitalized.
